MEM Metallurgy and Engineering Consultancy provides metallurgical laboratories and consulting services to the minerals industry.
The metallurgical laboratories provide research, development and demonstration services for a variety of commodities and mineral processing technologies. We can customize testing and design to meet the needs of the mining industries in copper, cobalt, gold, nickel, zinc, lead, vanadium, emeralds and many more. The metallurgical laboratory work includes the physical processes such as crushing, grinding, flotation and classification, and the hydrometallurgical processes such as leaching, precipitation, solid-liquid separation, solvent extraction, ion exchange and electrowinning.
The consulting services involves process engineering design including 3D modelling, process optimisation studies, feasibility studies, due diligence studies and automating process plant metallurgical accounting functions using Visio Basic for Application (VBA).
With just over 10 years of consulting experience within the resource industry, MEM’s involvement in project engagements have enabled us to develop a unique depth of knowledge and processing experience that cannot be found elsewhere.
